Shipping & Returns

Before returning a piece of equipment to FoodEquipmentDepot.com, read and follow these return guidelines to ensure the return is handled correctly and accepted by the factory. If you have any questions about your return, call 855.392.3145.

Regular Returns

  • The equipment must be returned within 30 days of the purchase date.
  • The equipment must be in new condition and never used.
  • Call us at 855.392.3145 before returning the item. The factory must issue a return material authorization number(RMA) and be willing to take back the unit. FoodEquipmentDepot.com will notify you of the RMA number and provide you with the return shipping address once we receive it from the vendor.
  • You must pay the return freight back to the factory or return the item to the destination.
  • Once the vendor receives the return, they will have to approve the return and equipment condition.
  • FoodEquipmentDepot.com must receive our credit memo from the vendor before refunding your payment. We will notify you when the factory has accepted the return and will let you know how much the restocking fee will be.
  • In most instances, there will be a restocking fee associated with any return of equipment. This restocking fee is typically 25% of the cost of the equipment.

Damaged Items

It is your responsibility to check for any damages prior to signing the bill of lading. If your equipment order is damaged upon arrival, do not sign the bill of lading. Once you sign for the equipment, the shipment becomes your property. Reject the shipment and make note of the damage on the bill of lading. The shipping carrier will pay the freight back to the factory to return it.

Products Shipped in Error

If FoodEquipmentDepot.com ships the wrong unit to you, we will pay the return freight to the factory; however, do not use the equipment (as it cannot be returned once the equipment has been used).

Residential Purchasing

Any purchase of equipment to be shipped residentially is likely to incur an additional shipping fee. Most of these fees are incured from not having a loading dock available to the shipment company. Customer Service will contact the customer before this fee is added into your shipping cost. All fees are subject to manufacturer guidelines and are not determined by FoodEquipmentDepot.com
